AR-12 is built on an open source platform, using open standards for all integration, data exchange, workflow and web service functions.
Ease of interoperation with other systems used by clients, their service providers, and external data providers such as the DVLA, Experian and Companies House was a key requirement during development.
AR-12’s comprehensive integration features were developed using JBW’s experience. It is one of the most advanced client integration projects undertaken in the UK’s bailiff industry. JBW worked closely with Transport for London and major service providers including IBM, Mouchel and NSL to develop a secure interface for the real time exchange of case data between TfL and JBW. This interface, which utilises secure sFTP transport protocols and XML messaging, allows all case management activity, including warrant transfer, payments and remittance, fee and visit details and case return, to be exchanged in an entirely automated and secure fashion. This experience ensures that AR-12 can provide richer integration with client systems than the traditional import/export routines provided by other systems.
